RESOLUTION CONDEMNING 613 SOUTH MAIN STREET

WHEREAS, the City Inspector and Fire Chief of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, have made a full inspection of the property located at 613 South Main Street, which apparently is owned by Mrs. W.T. Pride, 2459 Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee; and
WHEREAS, said officials find and report that a structure located on said property is in a deplorable condition being dilapidated and readily subject to collapse, and further constituting a fire hazard to the surrounding neighborhood and have recommended that such structure be condemned and demolished;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the structure located on the property described above be and it is hereby found and determined to be dilapidated, unsightly, unsafe and a hazard to the public safety and welfare; and that pursuant to City Ordinances and State law the owner of said property shall b given by the City Attorney 90 days notice to remove or tear down such building so that the same is not dilapidated, unsightly, unsafe or hazardous.
