A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO APPOINT THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS TO THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION AS RECOMMENDED BY MAYOR FORMON.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of Mayor Formon to make recommendations on appointments to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission to address the current and future needs of City Government; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Formon has recommended appointments of the following persons to serve on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission:

Dr. Ken Beadles for a renewed term of 3 years to expire: April 30, 2009

Jerry R. Sexton for the filling of an unexpired vacancy to expire: March 31, 2008

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the recommended appointments as listed above are hereby confirmed to serve on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission.
