1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk
3. Approval of minutes from February 2, 1998, February 5, 1998, and November 22, 1997, (Special called meetings) as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Industrial (I-1), located south of Dan Avenue, East of Best Industrial Drive. (Little & Maddox)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-5), located at 909 Southwest Drive. (Sam Hester/C .M. Mooney)
(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Commercial (C-3) to Industrial (I-2), located on the southwest corner of Highland Drive and Cottage Home Road. (Jay Harmon)
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-4) and from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-3), located on the west side of Southwest Drive, north of Stillwater Drive. (Bob Gibson)
(E) 1st reading - Ordinance to waive competitive bidding and authorize purchase of excavating work for the Mata Department.
5. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on property located at 506 West Matthews as recommended by the Code Enforcement Officer.
6. Review the following bids:
98:02 - Sewer Cleaner - Street Department
98:03 - Iron Worker - Street & Sanitation Departments
98:04 - Backhoe/Loader - Street Department
7. Resolution naming judges, clerks, and alternate workers to serve in the election for directors of the City Water & Light improvement district.
8. Resolution approving various STOP signs within Jonesboro, as recommended by the Jonesboro Traffic Authority.
