BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: From and after the passage and adoption of this Ordinance, no person, firm or corporation shall park, stop or leave standing, any vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the following streets and locations:

(a) On either side of Patrick Street beginning with the Frolic Footwear Parking Lot and proceeding North to Highway One.

(b) On the West side of Rains Street from its intersection with Matthews Avenue on the North to its intersection with Oak Avenue on the South and on the East side of Rains from the intersection of Matthews 150 feet South.

Section 2: The Chief of Police or some person designated by him is hereby directed to place and locate appropriate signs reading “NO PARKING” at appropriate places along the foregoing streets, and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to tear down, remove or mutilate such signs.
