RESOLUTION TO HAVE PROPERTY OWNERS REMOVE THEIR SIGNS WITHIN THE CITY’S RIGHT-OF-WAY AND TO NAME THE HOUSING AUTHORITY AS THE CITY’S AGENT FOR THE NETTLETON STREET PROJECT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has undertaken to widen E. Nettleton from Caraway Road to Young Street., and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has approved this projected in the third year Community Development Block Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, there are numerous signs and other encroachments located within the City of Jonesboro’s right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, the signs and encroachments must be removed from the City of Jonesboro’s right-of-way to begin construction on the Nettleton Street project.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas does hereby order all property owners having signs and other encroachments within the City of Jonesboro’s right-of-way to remove their signs and encroachments and the City Council of the City of Jonesboro does hereby name the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority as it’s agent for the Nettleton Street Project.
