RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO THE HERBET PARKER FAMILY FOR A RECENT LAND DONATION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO FOR A PARK/PLAYGROUND

WHEREAS, the donation rendered by Mr. Herbert J. Parker to the community of Jonesboro, has earned the admiration and respect of all citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express its appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Herbert J. Parker;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the permanent records of the City of Jonesboro and copies be delivered to the Herbert J. Parker family for the recent donation to the City of Jonesboro of a 4.3 acre tract of real estate on North Church Street for a park/playground facility for the future use of the citizens of Jonesboro.
