RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT A ONE CENT COUNTY SALES TAX VOTE

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is in need of revenues to support current levels of service to its citizens, and
WHEREAS, certain citizens have urged the county to consider a one cent county sales tax in order to meet the needs of all citizens in Craighead County.
Now be it resolved that the Jonesboro City Council supports the views of its citizens and urges the government of Craighead County to present, for its citizens, the right to vote on a one cent county sales tax.
