AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT BOARD AS CREATED BY FILE NUMBER ORD-07:50

Body

WHEREAS, File Number ORD-07:50 established the Stormwater Management Board, and

WHEREAS, an amendment to the ordinance is necessary in order to provide proper alignment of sub-committee responsibilities by changing membership from the Chair of Public Works to the Chair of the Drainage Sub-Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:

SECTION 1: The membership of the Stormwater Management Board shall be amended by replacing the Chair of Public Works Committee with the Chair of the Drainage Sub-Committee.

SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that an emergency exists and this Ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety, shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
