6:15 p.m. - Huntington Building
Members Present: Alec Farmer, Darrel Dover, Jim Hargis, Harold Perrin, and Ann Williams. Others present were: Donna Jackson, City Clerk, Mayor Brodell and Mayor-Elect Formon.
FINANCE
Life Insurance - Ms. Hackney informed committee members that U. S. Able had agreed to provide additional coverage that was not part of the bid specifications with a guaranteed rate of one year. Committee members had already approved the life insurance bid, so no action was taken.
Ameritas Dental Coverage - City Attorney Crego explained he saw no problem with the low bidder providing additional coverage as long as they remain the low bidder. They were providing additional coverage that was not part of the bid specifications. Councilman Perrin moved, seconded by Councilman Dover to approve Ameritas Dental. All voted aye.
ADJOURNMENT
Councilman Dover moved, seconded by Councilman Hargis to adjourn the meeting. All voted aye.
