RESOLUTION TO APPOINT ROBERT WELLS TO THE JONESBORO URBAN RENEWAL AND HOUSING AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, on October 16, 1967, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, created the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority (JURHA) in accordance with A.C.A. 14-169-207; and
WHEREAS, Dr. David England was appointed on March 1, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Dr. England has tendered his resignation to the JURHA Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, JURHA has recommended the appointment of Robert Wells to fill the unexpired term of Dr. England.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: Robert Wells is hereby appointed to JURHA to fill the unexpired term of Dr. David England with an expiration date of October 31, 2016.
