AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 15.16, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS - IMPROVEMENTS, SECTION 15.16.01 REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BY ADDING A NEW SUB-SECTION (d), REGARDING STREET IMPROVEMENTS.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 15.16, Section 15.16.01 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is hereby amended by adding the following Sub-section:
(d) Street improvements and surfacing requirements shall be those specified in Section 9.32.01 (c) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: If for any reason, any portion of this Ordinance is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall in no way affect the remaining portions thereof which are valid, but such valid portions shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that an emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
