AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 757, AS AMENDED, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE SETTING OCCUPATION OR PRIVILEGE TAX OR LICENSE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO

BE IT ORDAINED and enacted by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Section 1: From and after the passage and adoption of this ordinance Section 6 shall be amended to read as follows:

Item 60: DIRECTORIES. Each person, firm or corporation compiling or offering for sale…………………………………………... One Hundred Dollars $100.00

Section 6 of Ordinance No. 757, as amended, shall be amended to add the following:

Item 148: COIN OPERASTED SELF SERVICE LAUNDRY.

Twenty five machines or less……………………………………………$ 35.00

Twenty five and over washing and drying machines……………………$ 35.00

Plus $1.00 for each additional machine over 25.

Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and adoption.

Section 3: Ordinance No. 683 regulating coin operated machines is here repealed in so far as it may be in conflict with Item No.148 hereinabove.
