AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES FROM R-3 TO C-4 LOCATED EAST OF NETTLETON AVENUE AND WEST OF PARDEW STREET

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Ordinance No.954 known as the zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the City Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows: From Residential (R-3) to Commercial (C-4), the property described as follows:
Rezone Lot 1 of the Guy A. Pardew Sub-division of a part of the West ½ of the East ½ of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East. The general location of this property is described as follows: on the North side of East Nettleton Avenue commencing approximately 80 feet West of Pardew Street.
Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that proper use of the tracts of land described in this Ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning and that therefore, an emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effects from and after its passage and approval.
