RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS MAKE FLOOD PLAIN STUDIES AT NO COST TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, recognizes the advisability of Flood Plain Studies in the Jonesboro, Arkansas, area; and
WHEREAS, THE Metropolitan Planning Commission has recommended the City of Jonesboro request the Corps of Engineers to make a Flood Plain study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF JONESBORO:
The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby requests that the Corps of Engineers make Flood Plain studies at no cost to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
