Minutes for the special called City Council meeting on January 21, 1970

The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Ark., met in special session Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 1970, at 4:00 p.m. There were present: Mayor and the following named Councilmen: Pierce, Dr. Bowers, Young, Stricklin, Minx, Darling, Pardew, Williams and Knight. Absent: Park, Bowers and Johnson.
Mr. Stricklin offered the following resolution:
RESOLUTION TO CONSTRUCT ACCESS STREETS AND PASSAGEWAYS TO THE ARKANSAS SERVICE CENTER
Mr. Knight moved with Mr. Darling seconding the motion that the resolution be adopted. All members present voted aye and the motion carried.
The resolution was given the number 1970:02.
There being no further business, Council voted unanimously to adjourn.
