RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO GRANTS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO APPLY FOR A BLUE AND YOU FOUNDATION GRANT FOR THE NORTH JONESBORO NEIGHBORHOOD INITIATIVE

Whereas, the City of Jonesboro will apply for the Blue and You Foundation Grant application; and
Whereas, the amount of the grant is up to $150,000 with no match requirement for the City of Jonesboro; and
Whereas, the grant award period is 12 months; and
Whereas, the grant will fund the enhancement of the North Jonesboro Neighborhood Initiative by adding a health-improvement program to the revitalization initiative.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro will apply for up to $150,000 from the Blue and You Foundation to enhance the North Jonesboro Neighborhood Initiative by adding a health-improvement program.
