AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 778, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND REFUSE IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, PROVIDING FOR THE INSPECTION OF PREMISES, FIXING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR SAID SERVICES, PROVIDING FOR PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF, AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOESS

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro,
Arkansas:
Section 1: Section 1-A of Ordinance No. 778 is amended as follows:
All garbage, waste, trash and refuse within the City of Jonesboro, shall be collected by the City and no other person shall be allowed to collect same, except collection of retail, commercial and manufacturing establishments.
Section 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and emergency6 hereby is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and approval.
