RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTING OF A DEED CONVEYING THE NETTLETON WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT TO THE CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT

BE IT RESOLUTION by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is authorized to execute a deed, attested by the City Clerk on behalf of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, conveying the following described property and improvements located thereon known as the Nettleton Water and Sewer system sewage disposal plant to City Water and Light Plant of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Begin at the corner of Section 26, 27, 34 and 35 of Township 14 North, Range 4 East, thence West on the Section line 20 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence continue west on section line 397.2 feet; thence north 208.7 feet; thence East 397.2 feet; thence South 208.7 feet to the point of beginning proper, said tract being part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township, 14 North, Range 4 East, 1.9 acres, in Craighead County, Arkansas;
Such conveyance is for the consideration that City Water and Light Plant of Jonesboro will, until all of the bonded indebtedness of Nettleton Water and Sewer system is plaid in full, receive, process, and dispose of all sewage from the Nettleton Water and Sewer system without any charges in excess of the present charge of $100 for sewage disposal service included in the present basic operational contract of $800 per month.
The agreement for sewage disposal between Nettleton Water and Sewage system and its Receiver and City Water and Light Plant of Jonesboro is in all things approved and confirmed.
