A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 107 FLINT STREET

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has utilized facilities located at 107 Flint Street to house the Street, Sanitation, and Planning Departments; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to continue use of this facility until another suitable site is approved for the above departments.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  The City of Jonesboro agrees to the terms and conditions of the lease attached as exhibit “A”.

Section 2:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
