RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR’S SALARY RECOMMENDATION FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE SALARY SCHEDULE AND ADMINISTRATION POLICY

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro City Council adopted the Salary Schedule and Administration Policy as recommended by the Johanson Group on December 15, 2009; And

WHEREAS, the Salary Schedule and Administration Policy requires any salary recommendation greater than the halfway point between minimum and mid-point,  of any salary range of the grade to be approved by the Mayor and City Council; And

WHEREAS, the position of Chief Financial Officer with a Pay Grade of 131 has the following pay range:

                     Minimum                     Midpoint                     Maximum

                     $71,435                     $89,293                     $107,152

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Jonesboro City Council that the salary for the position of Chief Financial Officer be approved at eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00) above the halfway point between minimum and mid-point,  of the pay range for the Pay Grade of 131 as established by the Salary Schedule and Administration Policy.
