RESOLUTION TO DEDICATE TO PUBLIC USE OF THE ALLEY OR PASSAGEWAY EXTENDING NORTHWARD FROM CREATH AVENUE TO THE CITY PARKING LOT

WHEREAS, the City is presently negotiating with property owners for the dedication to the public use of an alley or passageway extending northward from Creath Avenue to the city parking lot, and

WHEREAS, one of the owners thereof, Mrs. Lessie Mae Owens, has asked for assurance that such alley or passageway will remain available for loading or unloading operations by adjacent owners and/or tenants,

NOW, THREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, that following dedication to the public use of the alley or passageway described above, such area shall remain available for use in loading and unloading by the owners and/or tenants of the adjacent properties.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 23^rd day of September, 1963.
