RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AN EASEMENT AS REQUESTED BY VANCE BROWN

WHEREAS, Vance A. Brown have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the City abandon a 13 acre easement as recorded as Deed record 390 at page 421 of the records of the Jonesboro District of Craighead County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on July 1, 1996 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. in Municipal Court, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
