Public Hearing - 7:15 p.m. - A public hearing was held regarding the issuance of Industrial Bonds to the Busch Agricultural Resources Inc.

City Council Minutes - September 21, 1992

The Jonesboro City Council met in regular session at 7:30 p.m. Present were the Mayor, City Clerk, and all the Aldermen except for Mr. Bridger who was unable to attend.

The minutes of September 8, 1992, were approved as mailed by motion of Mr. Sanderson, seconded by Mr. Stricklin. All voted aye.

Mr. Sanderson offered the following ordinance for the first reading:

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE UNDER THE MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND LAW, ACTS 1960.

Mr. Sanderson moved, seconded by Mr. Shelton to suspend the rules and place on second reading. All voted aye.

Mr. Hinson offered the following ordinance for the first reading:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 954 KNOWN AT THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES.

Mr. Nix moved, seconded by Mr. Hinson to suspend the rules and place on the second reading. All voted aye.

Mr. Stricklin offered the following ordinance for the first reading:

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO THE CARL BAJOHR COMPANY.

Mr. Randy Ishmael reported to the Council that all conditions had been met. Mr. Hannah moved, seconded by Mr. Shelton to suspend the rules and place on second reading. All voted aye. Mr. Nix moved, seconded by Mr. Province to further suspend the rules and place on the third and final reading. All voted aye. Mr. Nix moved, seconded by Mr. Shelton for the adoption of the ordinance with the emergency clause. All voted aye. The ordinance was given the number 2416.

Mr. Evans offered the following ordinance for the first reading:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES.
