RESOLUTION DIRECTING MAYOR TO OPTION PROPERTY TO POSTMASTER GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be authorized and directed to execute and deliver an option on behalf of this City, to the Postmaster General of the United States and his assigns, the following described parcel of land situated in the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, to-wit:
Begin at the Northwest corner of Lot 5 of Resurvey of Collins Addition Jonesboro, Arkansas, thence South 00° 10 ‘ East along the West line of aforesaid Lot 5, 134.5 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence South 86° 35’ East along the South line of Lot 5, 13.10 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence continue South 86° 35’ West along the South line of Lot 5 a distance of 152.13 feet; thence South 88° 35’ East 31.35 feet; thence South 00° 11’ East 55.7 feet; thence North 89° 54’ West 183.35 feet; thence North 00° 04’ West 64.96 feet to the point of beginning proper.
At a consideration of $33,195.00 and according to the terms of POD Form 4828.
