RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A PORTION OF A STREET RIGHT OF WAY AND CERTAIN UTILITY EASEMENTS ON THE EAST END OF MARCHBANKS CIRCLE AS REQUESTED BY RICK WYATT

WHEREAS, Rick Wyatt, dba R & S Wyatt, Inc. has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City abandon a portion of Street Right of Way and certain Utility Easements on the east end of Marchbanks Circle; and

WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned street right of way and easements and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on September 5, 2000, at 6:05 o'clock p.m. at the Huntington Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
