RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO ARKANSAS CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF CERTAIN BUSINESSES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas enterprise zone program and benefit from the refunds/exemptions as provided the Arkansas, enterprise zone program regulations of 1993, and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available from AIDC; and
WHEREAS, Windchimes by Russco III, Inc., located at 5510 Stadium Blvd., has sought to participate in the program and more specifically has requested benefits accruing from the construction of an expansion of the specific facility; and
WHEREAS, Windchimes by Russco III, Inc. has agreed to furnish the local government all necessary information for compliance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
1. Windchimes by Russco III, Inc. be endorsed by the City Of Jonesboro for the benefits from the refunds/tax credits as provided in the Arkansas enterprise zone program regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999.
As provided in part iv of the Arkansas enterprise zone program regulations of 1983, and as amended through December, 1996.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
