A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY'S WILLINGNESS TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID MONIES FOR SIGNALIZATION OF THE CARAWAY RD./PHILLIPS DR. INTERSECTION

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro understands that Federal-Aid Surface Transportation funds are available for certain signalization projects at the following Federal participating ratios:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibility in this project.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction of this project.
SECTION 3. That the City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate action to construct this project.
