AN ORDINANCE TO ADMEND THE CITY OF JONESBORO 2005 ANNUAL BUDGET BY THE ADDITION OF ONE ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY POSITION FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need to create one additional Administrative Secretary position for the Jonesboro Fire Department: and
WHEREAS, the pay plan currently contains a description of the Fire Department Administrative Secretary position:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The 2005 annual budget of the City of Jonesboro is amended by the addition of one Administrative Secretary position for the Jonesboro Fire Department.
SECTION 2: The 2005 annual budget of the City of Jonesboro is amended by the appropriation from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund the sum of $12,813 as follows

SECTION 3: This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
