A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH A TO Z LAWN CARE FOR MOWING OF THE JONESBORO FIRE STATIONS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains fire stations;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro let bids for the mowing of its fire stations;

WHEREAS, A to Z Lawn Care was the lowest bidder meeting specifications with an annual price of $13,320;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a 3-year contract with A To Z Lawn Care for the mowing of the Jonesboro Fire Stations;

WHEREAS, funds for the mowing contract shall come from Building Maintenance and Grounds, line item number 01-115-0221;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with A to Z Lawn Care for the purpose of mowing the Jonesboro Fire Stations.  A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A."

SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
