AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1851, THE 1984 BUDGET ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That the budget of the Sanitation Department be increased by $15,000.00 to be taken from un-appropriated revenues.

Section 2:  The $15,000.00 is budgeted for professional services in the landfill section of the Sanitation Department.

Section 3: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public peace, health, and safety and shall take effect an be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
