BE IT RESOLVED that this July 16, 1956, that the City Council go on record as approving, authorizing and encouraging the circulating and filing of a petition to change the number and boundaries of wards in said City and the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the necessary pleadings to accomplish and said purpose.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 16^th day of July, 1956.
