1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk
3. Approval of minutes from January 5, 1998, as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the south side of Parker Road, east of Stadium Blvd. in Rook Subdivision. (Suiter Bittle Reality, Bobby Clark)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone Lots 169-204, Lots 222-243 and Lots 334-347, together with all street rights of way of record from Residential (R-3) to Residential (R-1), located on the east side of Clubhouse Drive, south of Macedonia Road in Sage Meadows, Phase II-A Addition. (C.M. Mooney, Sage Meadows)
(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone Lot 205, Lots 215-221, Lots 244-333, Lots 413-421, and the Park Area from Residential (R-3) to Residential (R-1), located on the east side of Clubhouse Drive, south of Macedonia Road in Sage Meadows, Phase II-A Addition. (C.M. Mooney, Sage Meadows)
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to waive competitive bidding and authorize purchase on repairs to the 966 cat loader of the Street Department.
5. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on property located at 3337 East Nettleton, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
6. Resolution requesting City Water & Light to provide utility service to the MATA Office located at 4110 Lindberg, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
7. Resolution setting a public hearing to vacate a drainage easement located in Ridge Run Phase II Addition. (Randy Simpkins)
8. Resolution to discontinue the Travelers Insurance contract (pending approval of the State Insurance Department) and appoint First Commercial Trust Company, First Bank of Arkansas as the administrator/trustee for the Non-Uniform Employee Pension Plan, and for the transfer of funds held by Travelers Insurance Company to First Commercial Trust Company, First Bank of Arkansas.
9. Resolution modifying Jonesboro's Wage and Salary Management Plan and directing the Human Resources Director and Finance Director to implement the amended plan.
10. Resolution authorizing and appropriating the purchase of property located at 508 W. Monroe and at the southwest corner of Patrick and Hope Streets.
11. Review the following reappointments of the Citizens Planning Committee of the Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Traffic Authority:
