AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14 CHAPTER 14.08 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BY AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS AND SUBSECTIONS THEREOF REGARDING DISTRICT REGULATIONS.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That the following Section set forth in Title 14, Chapter 14.08 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, are hereby amended as follows:
14.08.02 (c) (1) Commercial and Industrial. All commercial and industrial uses including engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04.
14.08.03 (c) (1) Commercial and Industrial. All commercial and industrial uses including engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04.
14.08.04 (c) (1) Commercial and Industrial. All commercial and industrial uses including engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04.
14.08.05 (b) (3) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses.
14.08.06 (c) (3) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses
14.08.07 (b) (3) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses
14.08.08 (c) (3) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses.
14.08.09 (g) Prohibited Uses. The following uses are prohibited from district:
(1) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city license.
14.08.10 (e) Prohibited Uses. The following used are prohibited from district:
(1) Engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses.
14.08.11 (f) Commercial Uses Other Than Outlined in Above Section. Prohibited uses includes in engaging in the business of a used motor vehicle dealer as defined in Title 4 Chapter 4.04 without the appropriate state and city licenses.
SECTION 2: If for any reason, any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall in no way affect the remaining portions thereof which are valid, but such valid portions shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that an emergency exists and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
