BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

 

SECTION 1:                     TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BE AMENDED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION BY THE CHANGES IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:

 

FROM RESIDENTIAL R-1 TO COMMERCIAL C-3 L.U.O., THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:

 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (0.28 acres), a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (0.29 acres), a part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (3.30 acres), all in Section 36, Township 14 north, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:

 

BEGIN at the northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence S 00°05’24” E, a distance of 629.77 feet to a point; thence S 89°06’07” W, a distance of 209.81 feet to a point; thence N 00°05’45” E, a distance of 208.90 feet to a point; thence N 89°10’35” E, a distance of 35.45 feet to a point; thence N 37°02’22” W, a distance of 143.81 feet to a point; thence N 37°10’10” W, a distance of 110.43 feet to a point on the southeasterly right-of-way of Southwest Drive;  thence run along said right-of-way line as follows: run along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 1,677.02 feet, an arc of 214.27 feet, a chord length of 214.13 feet, and a chord bearing of N 42°34’49” E, to a point; thence N 43°36’41” E, a distance of 51.54 feet to a point; thence N 33°40’09” E, a distance of 92.45 feet to a point; thence N 32°26’06” E, a distance of 61.52 feet to a point; thence N 31°10’21” E, a distance of 85.80 feet to a point;  thence leaving said right-of-way, run S 89°47’05” E, a distance of 87.60 feet to a point; thence S 00°12’55” W, a distance of 175.00 feet to a point; thence S 89°06’54” W, a distance of 69.70 feet to a point; said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, said tract containing 3.87 acres.
