1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes from April 5, 2004, as delivered.
4. Legal Report.

5. City Attorney:
A. 1st Reading - Ordinance requesting rezoning from Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3), located on the north side of Highland Drive, east of Turtle Creek. (Belz-Burrow II, and Belz Investco)
B. 1st Reading - Ordinance requesting rezoning from Agricultural District (AG) to Commercial (C-3), located on the east side of Commerce Drive, 600 feet north of Highland Drive. (Jack & Jane Elam)
C. 1st Reading - Ordinance amending Ordinance Number 3450, the 2004 Annual Budget, transferring $517,617 from General Ledger Account Number 604 into the E-911 unappropriated fund balance for the purchase of a Computer Aided Dispatch System, and Automatic Vehicle Locater.
D. 1st Reading - Ordinance providing for the appointment of City Treasurer for the City of Jonesboro and for other purposes.
6. Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to rent the Old Fire Station on Matthews and Caraway Road to Wanda Turner a/k/a Northeast Arkansans for Animals for a term of 120 days for the spraying and neutering of animals.
7. Resolution setting a public hearing for the purpose of vacating and abandoning a utility easement at the northeast corner of the intersection of Caraway Road and Nettleton Ave. (BCD Ventures, Inc. Bo Cox President)
8. Request for an appeal hearing regarding denial by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission to approve rezoning from Industrial (I-1) to Commercial (C-2 Downtown Fringe Commercial), located at 1005 E. Johnson (Russ and Joyce Anderson)
9. Request for an appeal hearing regarding the decision of Mayor Hubert Brodell to terminate the employment of Mr. Glenn Batten with the City of Jonesboro as Director of Planning, Inspection, and Code Enforcement.
