BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

 

SECTION 1:                     TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BE AMENDED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION BY THE CHANGES IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:

 

FROM RESIDENTIAL R-1 TO COMMERCIAL C-3; L.U.O., THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:

 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 14 north, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:

 

From the Northwest corner of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of said Section 36, thence run N 89°20’12” E, along the north line of said quarter, a distance of 309.67 feet to a point; said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continue N 89°20’12” E, a distance of 461.14 feet to a point; thence S 42°36’16” E, a distance of 211.42 feet to a point on the northwest right-of-way of Southwest Drive; thence along said right-of-way as follows:

S 48°55’00” W, a distance of 159.24 feet to a point; thence S 51°35’55” W, a distance of 269.79 feet to a point; thence S 60°22’11” W, a distance of 101.26 feet to a point; thence S 42°48’51” W, a distance of 101.11 feet to a point; thence S 51°35’55” W, a distance of 46.08 feet to a point; thence leaving said right-of-way line; run N 54°25’27” W, a distance of 77.69 feet to a point; thence N 09°15’39” W, a distance of 199.84 feet to a point; thence N 82°31’08” E, a distance of 2.99 feet to a point; thence N 02°08’47” E, a distance of 332.77 feet to a point;  said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, said tract containing 5.22 acres.
