The minutes of the February 13, 1990 meeting were approved as prepared.

 

#1 RZ90-5 Carroll Carr and others requested rezoning from R-1 to I-1 for a part of the NW 1/4 of Section 9, T14N, R3E. The property is located on the west side of Harry Drive, south and west of Terrell Cove.

 

Mr. Lamberth made a motion to approve this request subject to the following stipulations:

 

1. Mr. Carr participate in the dedication of the right-of-way for a cul-de-sac and prorata share of improvements on Terrell Cove when developed.

2. The plat be changed to show the Cul-de-sac on Terrell Cove.

3. An agreement be signed by the owners for their prorata share of the cost of improvements for Terrell Cove and Harry Drive.

4. Utility easement be worked out with C W & L.

 

The motion was seconded by Mr. Coleman. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.

 

#2 MP90-6 Carroll Carr and others requested approval of a minor plat containing 4 lots on 6.252 acres. The property is located on the west side of Harry Drive, south and west of Terrell Cove.

 

Mr. Lamberth made a motion to approve this request subject to the following stipulations:

1. Mr. Carr participate in the dedication of the right-of-way for a cul-de-sac and prorata share of improvements on Terrell Cove when developed.

2. The plat be changed to show the cul-de-sac on Terrell Cove.

The motion was seconded by Mr. Patteson. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.

 

#3 FP90-2 Kent Arnold request final approved of Caraway Place Subdivision Phase II, containing 40 lots on 8.02 acres. The property is located east of Caraway Road, south of Glenn Place.

 

A motion to approve this request was made by Mr. Lamberth with the following stipulations:

 

1. A note added to sheet 5 to reflect the detail of “C” to “Fill cells with 3500 psi concrete”

2. Erosion protection being installed at the outlet of the pipes on Jeanne McQueen and Brooke McQueen and be approved by the City Engineer.

3. Reducing the steepness of the side slope of ditch “A” to meet City Engineer’s approval.

4. The easement on the eastern boundary be changed on the plat to show that it is a 10' drainage easement instead of utility easement.

 

The motion was seconded by Mr. Patteson. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.

 

#4 RP90-9 Mary Scales’ request for a replat of Lots 187 & 188, Northwest Addition was approved as submitted on a motion by Mr. Lamberth and seconded by Mr. Aycock. The property is located at the northwest corner of Fourth Street and Word Avenue. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED.

 

#5 RP90-10 Troy Coleman requested a replat of Lots 2 and 3, Ferguson Addition. The property is located at the southeast corner of Matthews Avenue and Gee Street.

 

Mr. Sloan made a motion to approve this request with the following stipulations:

 

1. That 11' additional right-of-way be granted on Matthews Avenue and Gee Street for a total of 41' from centerline on both streets.

2. A site plan be submitted and approved by the Commission prior to issuance of a building permit that would include street improvements for Gee Street and Matthews and reconstruction of the drainage system at the corner.

3. The plat be changed to show the new lots as Lots 2 & 3 of Ferguson Addition.

 

The motion was seconded by Mr. Lamberth. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.

 

#6 RP90-11 Lee Taylor and Lehman Duncan requested a replat of Lots R12, R13, R14, R15 and R16 of North Belgrath Heights Subdivision. The property is located on the east side of Royal Drive on Bonaparte Cove.

 

Mr. Lamberth made a motion to approve this request subject to the following stipulations:

 

1. The 10' strip of property to the east of this property be replatted with property to the south.

2. A 10' utility easement be granted on the northern, eastern and southern boundary lines of this replat.

3. Bonaparte Cove being built to city standards and designed for proper drainage.

 

The motion was seconded by Mr. Aycock. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
