RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO CONVEY PROPERTY AND A UTILITY EASEMENT TO CITY WATER AND LIGHT

RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Quit claim Deed to the City Water & Light Plant of Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the following lands lying in Craighead County, Arkansas, to-wit:
A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence South 88 degrees 42 minutes West on the 40 acre line 487.42 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence continue South 88 degrees 42 minutes West 160.0 feet; thence North 100.0 feet; thence North 317.42 feet; thence North 88 degrees 42 minutes East 60.0 feet to the Northwest corner of Jonesboro Industrial Park First Addition; thence South along the west line of said Addition 417.42 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 0.8 acres.
This conveyance is made to City Water & Light Plant for the purpose of constructing and locating a proposed sanitary sewer lift station and lines to serve the Industrial Park and other southeast areas of the City.
Resolved further that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a utility easement to City Water & Light Plant of Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the following described property in Craighead County, Arkansas, to-wit:
The North 80 feet of the East 547.42 feet of the South 497.42 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 14 North, Range 4 East.
This easement is for the purpose of construction, operation and maintenance of electric transmission lines and appurtenant structures, water pipelines and appurtenant structures and/or sanitary sewer lines and appurtenant structures, and for the purpose of providing a right of ingress and egress to adjacent property. The City reserves the right to dedicate said described property to the public use as a street or roadway.
