AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING “GUY A PARDEW SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE WEST HALF OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST”; AND THE NOBLE ACRES ADDITION; AND THE TATE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It being determined by the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, to enter an order of annexation on July 5, 1955, making
The West Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter or Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; also known as the “Noble Acres Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas”. And incorporated as part of the 5th ward, and
A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 14 North, range 4 East, more particularly described as follows: Commence at a point four hundred sixty (460) feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 21; thence North 294.8 feet; thence East 130 feet; thence North 1025.2 feet; thence West 330 feet; thence South 1320 feet; thence East 200 feet to the point of beginning; also known as “Guy A Pardew Sub-division of part of the West Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East”, and incorporated as part of the 5th ward, and
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the quarter section corner of Section 24 and 25, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, thence east on the section line 735.8 feet; thence North 0 degrees and 20 minutes East 474 feet; thence West 60 feet; thence North 0 degrees and 20 minutes east 340 feet; thence west 686.02 feet to the quarter section line; thence South 0 degrees and 46 minutes west on the Quarter Section line 813 feet to the quarter corner of Sections 24 and 25, Township 14 north, Range 3 East, the point of beginning; also known as the “Tate Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas”, as part of the 3rd ward,
A part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. It being found that said territory should be accepted into and made part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
It is therefore ordained that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
