CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - June 20, 1994
 
1. Call to order by Mayor at 7:30 p.m.
 
2. Roll call by Clerk
 
3. Approval of minutes from June 6, 1994, as mailed.
      
· Mr. Mickey Seeman to address the City Council regarding his swimming pool which was built on a city easement.
 
4. City Attorney:
      
(A) 3rd reading - An ordinance rezoning property from Residential One to Residential Two located on the west side of Loberg Lane, north of Nettleton Avenue and south of the Holy Cross Cemetery. (Mike McNabb/Warren Dupwe)
 
(B) 1st reading - An ordinance rezoning property from Residential One to Commercial Three, located south of Higginbottom Creek between Caraway Road and Highway 1-B (Harry Latourette/Skip Moony)
 
(C) 1st reading - An ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Industrial One, located on the east side of Stadium Blvd. (Windchimes by Russco/Dan Mulhollen)
 
(D) 2nd reading - An ordinance to delete Title 2.56, Public Works Director/City Engineer, To amend Title 11.40, Department of Code Enforcement, and to delete Title 13.12, City Planner
 
(E) 1st reading - An ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Industrial Two, located on the southwest side of highway 63 Bypass (Farmer Enterprises)
 
5. Hardship home application for a trailer to be placed at 2039 W. Nettleton, Nettleton Avenue, as requested by Mrs. Lorene Bishop.
 
6. Resolution to set a public hearing regarding the vacating and abandonment of a portion of north Main Street. (Morris F. Mays)
 
7. Resolution to set a public hearing regarding the vacating and abandonment of a utility easement located on lot fifteen off of Hunter's Ridge Road. (Bob Gibson\Miller Newell)
 
8. Resolution to condemn property located at 811 Hope Avenue, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
 
9. Traffic resolution requesting "STOP" signs at various locations as recommended by the Traffic Authority.
 
10. Appointments:
 
      · Appoint Mr. Ken Beadles to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission with term to expire June 20, 1997.
· Reappoint Joe Heinemann to the Parking Authority with term to expire January 1, 1999.
· Reappoint Bruce Raley and Mark Ford to the Parks and Recreation Commission with term to expire March 6, 1999.
· Reappoint Grover Evans, Isaac M. Stotts and Jeanne Henry to the Jonesboro Handicapped Advisory Council with term to expire June 2, 1998.
