1. Call to order by Mayor at 7:30 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes from November 15, 1993, as mailed
· Certificate of Appreciation to Elaine Bartee, as the Jonesboro Public School 1994 Teacher of the year.
· Decision regarding the findings of the majority in value pertaining to the petitions filed on Kellers Chapel Improvement District No. Six
· Presentation by Ron Nunez, Stuttgard Mosquito Control to address the Council regarding Mosquito Control.
· Judy Schales to address the Council regarding gang related activities and violence within the city of Jonesboro.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to vacate and abandon a portion of McClure Street located between Johnson Ave. and Word Street. (Jon Coleman - Hardin/Rampley)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to establish the Keller's Chapel Road Street Improvement District Number 6. (Skip Mooney Jr.)
(C) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Commercial Three, located south of Parker Road between Caraway and Stadium Blvd., east of Sunny Meadow. (Herbert Spence Jr.)
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to place "NO PARKING" signs on the south side of Allen Avenue from N. Church Street, east to LaBaume Street.
(E) 1st reading - Ordinance to increase number of Civil Service Commissioners from five (5) to seven (7).
5. Resolution establishing a public hearing regarding the abandonment of Jordan Street and a portion of Hill Drive. (Skip Mooney Sr./Jordan - Pruitt)

93:51 - Property and General Liability Insurance - All Departments
93:52 - New Building - Parks Department
93:53 - Uniform Cleaning - Police Department

· Approve the sum of $6,981.00 to come from the Sanitation Administration Fixed Assets for equipment issued by City Water and Light for a new position in the Sanitation Department
· Recommendation by the Joint Police/Finance Committee regarding benefit changes for the Jonesboro Police Department
