BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
 
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the utility and drainage easements designated as follows:
 
DESCRIPTION - DRAINAGE EASEMENT
 
A part of Lot 1 of Boddie-Noell Subdivision, Jonesboro, Arkansas as shown by plat recorded in Plat Cabinet "B" page 16 in the Circuit Clerk's office for Craighead County, Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
 
From the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, thence N00°42'38"E 90.19 feet along the West Line of said Northwest Quarter to a point, thence N89°42'36"E 40.90 feet to a point on the Easterly Right of Way of Caraway Road, thence along said right of way as follows:  N00°37'46"E 19.15 feet, S89°14'14"E 3.35 feet, N00°45'46"E 6.00 feet, N89°14'14"W 3.36 Feet N00°37'46"E 122.38 feet to the point of beginning

SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
 
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above drainage easement and utility/drainage easement is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owner of all the property abutting the above easement is in favor of the closure and vacation of the above easement and therefore and emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
