APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF MOBILE HOME PARK

Comes now Dynamo Corporation and for its Application of Mobile Home Park pursuant to Code of Ordinances of City of Jonesboro, 14 1/2 - 1, 14 ½-2, 22-3:

 

Your applicant states that pursuant to the ordinances of this City of Jonesboro that your applicant did submit its plan for Mobile Home Park to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and after public hearing thereon that said application was approved by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission.  Copies of the minutes of the MAPC are attached as Exhibit A hereto.

 

Attached hereto is the application fee of $173.00 which represents $1.00 per unit in the proposed plan and $5.00 publication fee, as well as a permanent copy of the mobile home park plan.

 

The mobile home park will be located upon the following described property lying in Craighead County, City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, to-wit:

 

Tract 1: A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence North 0 degrees 33’ East 55.58 feet along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, to a point on the North right of way line of Arkansas Highway No. 18; thence continue North 0 degrees 33’ East 480.07 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence South 89 degrees 53’ West 166.5 feet to an existing wood fence; thence along said fence line South 1 degree 13’ West 80.87 feet; thence South 89 degrees 53’ West 491.67 feet, to a fence corner; thence North 89 degrees 53’ West along a fence line 210.3 feet to a fence corner; thence North 89 degrees 57’ West 104.1 feet to a fence corner; thence South 89 degrees 58’ 30” West along a fence line 340.9 feet; thence North 0 degree 45’ 30 “ East 854.0 feet to a fence corner at the Northwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence North 89 degrees 26’ East along the North line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, 1310.1 feet; thence South 0 degrees 33’ West 26.9 feet to an iron pipe set on the East line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence continue South 0 degrees 33’ West 763.03 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 25.68 acres, more or less, being subject tot a 20 foot Road Easement along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 4 East.

The name and address of the owner in fee of the tract is Dynamo Corporation, P.O. Box 2516, Jonesboro, Arkansas, 72403.

 

WHEREFORE, applicant prays that the City Council approve the plan of the mobile home park in whole as approved by the MAPC and authorize the City Collector to issue a mobile home park license and the City Inspector to issue a building permit for the mobile home park.
