BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the change in zoning district boundaries as follows:
 
From Residential (R-1) to Industrial (I -1):  (RGB Mechanical Contractors, Inc.)
 
Part of the North Half Northeast Quarter Section 10, Township 14 North, Range 4 East to wit:  BEGIN at the  Southeast corner of the  Northwest Quarter  Northeast Quarter  said Section 10;  run  South 89°06'  West along the South line  there of 429.30 feet; then run North 32°04' West 421.50 feet to the South right-of-way line of Arkansas Highway No. 49; then run North 57°56' East along said South Highway right-of-way line 183.00 feet; then run South 32°04' East 217.80 feet; then run North 57°56' East 400.00 feet; then run North 32° 04' West 217.80 feet to the said  highway South right-of-way line 367.30 feet to a point of curvature; then run Easterly along a 02°02' curve to the right 572.10 feet to the West line of the Northeast Quarter Northeast Quarter Northeast Quarter said Section 10; then run South 437.50 feet to the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter North-east Quarter; Northeast Quarter;   then run North 88°56' East 664.80 feet to the Southeast corner thereof; then run South 207.00 feet; then run South 88°57' West 320.40 feet; then run South 450.00 feet; then run South 88°57' West 1009.00 feet to the point of beginning, being 26.56 acres.
 
SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that proper use of the tract of land described in this Ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning and that, therefore, and emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
