BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Be Amended as Recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:
From Residential R-1 to Commercial C-3 the following described property:

Begin at the southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas; Thence South 89º 10'00" West along the South line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter aforesaid, 845.10 feet; Thence North 71.40 feet to the North Right of Way line of Arkansas State Highway #18, the Point of Beginning Proper; Thence South 89º 06'00" West along said Right of Way Line 148.60 feet; Thence North 0º52'00" East 432.00 feet; Thence North 89º10'00" East 142.10 feet; Thence South 431.70 feet to the Point of Beginning proper, Containing 1.44 acres.
