PUBLIC HEARING - 6:10 P.M. - This public hearing was set as requested by Attorney Jim Stanzell to establish the Southview Street Improvement District. The purpose of this public hearing is to make a finding and ruling as to whether the petitions contain the signatures of a majority in value of the real property owners with respect to the sufficiency of the petitions.

3. Approval of minutes from January 2, 1996, as mailed.
 
ยท Decision by Council on the sufficiency of petitions filed for the Southview Street    Improvement District.

(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located near the intersection of Highway 18 and Main Street by Jonesboro High School. (Betty Waddle & Patricia Waddel)
 
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Commercial Three located at 2500 East Johnson. (Dianne Duschl\Skip Mooney, Sr.)
 
(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Commercial One, located at the intersection of Southwest Drive and Parker Road. (Doyle Yarbrough)
 
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Commercial Three, located at the intersection of Washington and the 63 Bypass. (Brown Lacy)

7. Resolution to establish a public hearing for an drainage easement abandonment, located east of Quality Way, 2 mile south of Highland Drive.
