RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE COMMERCIAL SANITATION AND LANDFILL RATES

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, INCREASING THE COMMERCIAL SANITATION AND LANDFILL RATES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1993 AS FOLLOWS:
DUMPSTER CHARGES
Purchase of a new dumpster $425.00
Purchase of a new dumpster/2 lids at 30.00 = 60.00 = $485.00
Purchase of a used dumpster $250.00
Purchase of a used dumpster/2 lids at 30.00 = 60.00 = $310.00
Rental of a dumpster is $24.00 a quarter

* Trash can not extend above side of dumpster
* Contents must fall out of dumpster freely when tipped into truck
* Class "B" to be determined by randomly weighing full containers to be taken to the solid waste authority for weighing
* Items not allowed in dumpsters: wood, metal, concrete, appliances, furniture, mattresses, carpet, automotive parts, paint, oil or any kind of chemical, brush, grass or leaves.
* If dumpster is blocked on scheduled pick up day, there will be a extra charge for a return pick up at a charge of $10.00 per dumpster.
* Trash required to be handled by driver will be placed in dumpster after tipping and then emptied at an additional charge of $10.00 per dumpster.
* Additional pick ups will be charged at the rate of $10.00 per dumpster.
