BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas:  

 

SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as Recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:

 

From Residential R-1 TO Commercial C-3 the following described property:

 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

 

TRACT 1:

A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 14 North Range 4 East Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of aforesaid Section 33, Thence S 0°00'00" W 1135.10' to the North Right of Way line of Sunny Meadow Drive; Thence S90°00'00" E along North Right of Way line of Sunny Meadow Drive 30.00' to the Point of Beginning Proper.  Thence N°0°00'00"E - 120.00'; Thence S90°00'00"E - 300.00; Thence S0°00'00" W along Right of Way Line of Sunny Meadow Drive 300.00' to Point of Beginning Proper, containing 0.83 acres more or less subject to all rights of way and easements of record.

A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 14 North Range 4 East Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:  Begin at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of aforesaid Section 33, Thence S 0°00'00" E  1135.10' to the North Right of Way line of Sunny Meadow Drive; Thence N 90°00'00" E along North Right of Way Line of Sunny Meadow Drive 530.00' to a Point of Beginning proper, Thence N0°00'00" E - 120.00'; Thence S90°00'00" E - 100.00'; Thence N0°00'00" E - 335.50'; Thence S90°00'00" E - 150.90' Thence S0°00'00"W - 475.50 To North Right of Way Line of Sunny Meadow Drive.  Thence N90°00'00" W along North Right of Way Line of Sunny Meadow Drive 250.90' To Point of Beginning Proper containing 1.9 acres more or less.  Subject to all Rights of Way and Easements of Record.

                     

SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tract(s) of land described above in this Ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning, and that therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
