A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO GRANT AN EASEMENT FOR FACILITIES (UTILITY EASEMENT) TO CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to grant an Easement for Facilities (Utility Easement) to City Water and Light Plant of Jonesboro, Arkansas for the purpose of permitting the construction, erection, replacement, relocation, substitution, repair, preservation, or abandonment of a line or lines for the transmission or distribution of electricity or for communication, together with all wires, poles, transformers, guys, supports and appurtenances and together with all wires, pad mounted transformers, pad mounted equipment and appurtenances and to covey a right of ingress and egress for the purpose aforesaid; and for the construction laying, placement, operation, use repair, relocation, removal or abandonment of a water pipe line, valves, connections, meters, meter boxes, and other necessary equipment for carrying of water and for the construction, laying, placement, operations, use, repair, relocation, removal or abandonment of a sanitary sewer line or lines, including all pipes, tiles, valves, connections, manholes and necessary equipment or appurtenances and to convey a right of ingress and egress for the purposes aforesaid over and across the following described land:
A thirty (30) foot wide tract of land lying along and contiguous to the West Right of Way of Moore Road lying over and across a tract of land as recorded in Deed Record Book 710, Page 604 in the Office of the Craighead County Clerk lying in a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows: A thirty (30) foot wide tract of land lying over and across the above mentioned tract of land lying fifteen (15) feet each side of an overhead electric power line as constructed for a distance of 99 feet, more or less, as per attached sketch.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to grant an Easement for Facilities (Utility Easement) described above to City Water and Light Plant of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
