BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Section 2.08.02 of the City of Jonesboro Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
WARD NO. 1
That portion of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, described as follows: Begin at the intersection of Big Creek Ditch at the city limits; thence east along Big Creek to its intersection with Lost Creek Ditch; thence continue east along Lost Creek to Joe N. Martin Expressway; thence southeast along the Expressway to its intersection with the St. Louis - Southwestern Railway; thence east along the Railway to Nesbitt Street; thence south on Nesbitt to Huntington Avenue; thence east on Huntington Avenue to Main Street; thence south on Main street to Nettleton Avenue; thence west on Nettleton Avenue to Broadmoor Drive; thence south on Broadmoor Drive to Rosemond Avenue; thence west on Rosemond Avenue to Smoot Drive; thence northwest on Smoot to Denver Drive; thence northwest on Denver Drive to Joe N. Martin Expressway; thence northwest on the Expressway to Strawfloor Drive thence west on Strawfloor Drive to Tall Birch Road; thence south on Tall Birch Road to Casey Springs Road; thence west on Casey Springs Road to Strawfloor Drive; thence south and west on Strawfloor Drive to city limits.

That portion of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas described as follows: Begin at the intersection of Mattix Road and city limits; thence north on Mattiax Road to Southwest Drive; thence northeast on Southwest Drive to Main Street; thence north on Main Street to Cherry Avenue; thence east on Cherry Avenue Extended to Caraway Road; thence south on Caraway Road to Stallings Lane; thence east on Stallings Lane to Stadium Boulevard; thence south on Stadium Boulevard to Race Street; thence east on Race Street to Willow Road; thence south on Willow Road to Ingels Road; thence east on Ingels Road to Industrial Drive; thence south on Industrial Drive to city limits.
WARD NO. 6
That portion of the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, described as follows: Begin at the intersection of Industrial Drive and city limits; thence north on Industrial Drive to Ingels Road; thence west on Ingels Road to Willow Road; thence north on Willow Road to Race Street; thence west on Race Street to Stadium Boulevard; thence north on Stadium Boulevard to Arkansas Highway 49; thence northeast on Highway 49 ; to city limits.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that an emergency exists and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
